Tuscan GP 2020 Winning Podium (Hamilton, Botts and Albon)

Before racing

Mick Schumacher, son of the legendary Michael Schumacher, who has won the Formula-1 Driver Championship 7 times, had the pleasure to drive in Mugello, the father's winning Ferrari car from 2004, the last one used by the German to win the that year Championship.

It was great to hear the sound of the V10 engine again, see more clicking here.

Final Result

Hamilton won the crazy GP in Tuscan, but Alex Albon got his first podium in F1, finishing in 3rd, just behind Bottas in 2nd place, the first Thai in history to finish in the podium. Well done Alex! After been so close, and crashing 2 times before with Hamilton in Brazil 2019 and in Austria 2020, he finally made it.

The race was very exciting, had 3 restarts, yes, that many! We had crashes and red flags two times, the cars only start racing for real on lap 9 of 59.

On the first lap we had a crash between Gasly and Verstappen, on the restart behind the safety car there was a big crash with at least more 4 cars involved on the incident, Sainz hit strong the back of Magnussen's car (picture below), Latifi from Williams also got hitten and was out of the race, so we got other retirements as well, with Ocon from Renault for example.

Daniel Riccardo did a great race finishing just behind Albon in 4th, Sergio Perez did a good race finishing in 5th, Lando Norris in 6th, well done for him, Kvyat from Alpha Tauri in 7th and the Ferrari of Leclerc in 8th, just ahead of Raikkonen in 9th with Vettel in 10th, the two Ferraris luckily finished on the points positions during the Scuderia Ferrari 1000th race.

Great surprising race!!!
