F1 Round 5 - 70th Anniversary GP
Updated: Aug 16
Verstappen won the race with incredible talent !!!
Verstappen won the 70th Anniversary GP, unbelievable, who would be expecting for that? It was quite a nice surprise, this boy has pure talent, luckily the Mercedes cars this weekend were struggling to manage their tyres, so it gave the opportunity for Red Bull Racing team to show all their power.
Max is now on the second place of the Drivers Standings, if it wasn't for his retired on the first race of the season, I dare to say that he would be challenging Lewis Hamilton for the Championship at this moment.
Lewis drove perfectly and finished in 2nd position, passing his team mate Valtteri who finished in 3rd, losing his position in the Driver Standings to Max, yeah, the Dutch boy is on fire.
Another incredible performance came from Charles Leclerc, with a weak Ferrari for this 2020, he got another consistent result, finishing in 4th, just ahead of Alex Albon in 5th, the Indonesian is not having good Qualify performance this year, but at least is showing his service on the race.
We saw Nico Hülkenberg back, finishing in 7th, just behind his team mate Lance Stroll in 6th, driving for Racing Point, the German is still replacing Sergio Perez, who is still recovering from his positive result for Covid-19, we hope the Mexican driver can recover soon.
Vettel with the other Ferrari is far away from his best days and finished in a weak 12th position, the German spun on the first curve of the race, what a luck! We all wish him to have better days.
